Fathom’s reporting follows a small number of non-negotiable rules.
Primary sources first. Wherever an original source exists — a company’s own announcement, a regulatory filing, a published paper — we cite it directly rather than relying on second-hand reporting. Where we draw on other outlets’ reporting, we attribute clearly.
Depth over speed alone. Every story is expected to explain the concepts it touches and answer what happened, why it matters, and how it works — not merely restate an announcement.
Independence. Our news coverage is not for sale. Sponsored material, where it appears, is confined to our Press Releases section and labelled as such. It is never presented as reporting.
Corrections. When we get something wrong, we fix it. Corrections are made in the story itself, and substantive errors are acknowledged. To request a correction, contact [email protected].
